Systems Engineer - Onsite

Pay Rate: $48 - 52 per hour
Job Description:
Systems Engineers provide leadership for products and projects that involve multi-disciplinary engineering teams. They play roles in all aspects of a product lifecycle from Concept through Market Release and Sustaining. During the Concept Phase, Systems Engineers work to understand stakeholder needs and clinical use. They translate those needs to concepts and new inventions. During Development, Systems Engineers are responsible for ensuring the design meets the user needs through requirements identification and requirements decomposition. They achieve results using a variety of system engineering techniques such as: traceability, architecture, modeling, trade studies, simulation, and budgeting. Systems Engineers are also responsible for system integration and may lead the Verification effort. The best Systems Engineers are driven leaders, excellent communicators, creative problem solvers, domain experts, and can balance multiple competing priorities.
This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. Roles typically require a university degree or an extensive amount of practical knowledge gained through experience. Job requires an understanding and application of procedures and concepts of own discipline. The job requires the ability to make judgements based on practice and previous experience. This job typically requires a degree or equivalent and no experience.
